उदीरितोऽर्थः पशुनापि गृह्यते हयाश्च नागाश्च वहन्ति चोदिताः। अनुक्तमप्यूहति पण्डितो जनः परेङ्गितज्ञानफला हि बुद्धयः॥

Even animals can understand an instruction when it is spoken out loud; driven by commands, horses and elephants carry their loads. But a truly wise person understands even that which is left unspoken. The true fruit of intellect is the ability to read the unspoken gestures and intentions of others.
5. বাংলা অর্থ / Bengali Meaning
মুখে উচ্চারণ করে নির্দেশ দিলে তা পশুরাও বুঝতে পারে; আদিষ্ট হয়ে ঘোড়া ও হাতিরাও বোঝা বহন করে। কিন্তু পণ্ডিত বা জ্ঞানী ব্যক্তি অন্যের অনুক্ত বা না-বলা কথাও সহজে বুঝে নেন। অপরের হাবভাব ও ইঙ্গিত থেকে তার মনের কথা বুঝতে পারাই হলো বুদ্ধির প্রকৃত ফল।

बोलकर (मुँह से) बताए गए अर्थ को तो जानवर भी समझ लेते हैं; हाँकने पर घोड़े और हाथी भी बोझ ढोते हैं। परन्तु एक बुद्धिमान (विद्वान) व्यक्ति वह बात भी समझ लेता है जो कही नहीं गई हो। दूसरों के इशारों (हाव-भाव) को समझना ही वास्तव में बुद्धि का सच्चा फल है।

यत् साक्षात् शब्देन उच्यते तत् तु पशवः अपि अवगच्छन्ति। यथा आज्ञां श्रुत्वा अश्वाः गजाः च भारं वहन्ति। परन्तु यः पण्डितः अस्ति, सः अन्येषाम् अव्यक्तं (अनुक्तं) विचारम् अपि जानाति। यतो हि अन्येषां शारीरिकचेष्टां दृष्ट्वा तेषां मनसः भावज्ञानम् एव यथार्थबुद्धेः लक्षणम् अस्ति।
