The king incurs the sins committed by the nation (his subjects); the royal priest incurs the sins committed by the king. A husband incurs the sins committed by his wife, and similarly, a Guru (teacher) incurs the sins committed by his disciple. (Alliances and authority bring shared moral responsibility).

প্রজারা বা রাষ্ট্র পাপ করলে তার ফল রাজাকে ভোগ করতে হয়; রাজা পাপ করলে তার ফল পুরোহিতকে (বা রাজার উপদেষ্টাকে) ভোগ করতে হয়। স্ত্রী কোনো পাপ কাজ করলে তার দায়িত্ব বর্তায় স্বামীর ওপর, এবং শিষ্য পাপ করলে তার পাপভাগী হতে হয় গুরুকে।

देश (प्रजा) द्वारा किए गए पाप को राजा भोगता है; राजा के पाप को उसका पुरोहित (सलाहकार) भोगता है। पत्नी द्वारा किए गए पाप को उसका पति भोगता है, और शिष्य के पाप को उसका गुरु भोगता है। (सत्ता और संबंधों में पाप की हिस्सेदारी होती है)।

यदि राज्ये प्रजया किमपि पापकर्म क्रियते, तर्हि तस्य दायित्वं राज्ञः भवति। यदि राजा पापं करोति तर्हि तस्य मन्त्री (पुरोहितः) दोषी मन्यते। यदि भार्या कुकर्म करोति तस्य पापं पतिः प्राप्नोति, तथा च शिष्यस्य पापं गुरुः प्राप्नोति। रक्षकस्य मार्गदर्शकस्य च दायित्वं महत् भवति।
