Support Samskrita Subhashitam

Your contribution helps keep this Sanskrit wisdom archive free and accessible. Every donation supports hosting, domain renewal, and content development.

Why We Ask for Support

Samskrita Subhashitam is a free, advertisement-supported educational archive. There is no paywall, no subscription and no charge for reading, downloading or sharing any verse. Running the site nevertheless has real monthly costs: web hosting, the domain name, bandwidth for thousands of readers, secure payment infrastructure and the time spent researching, transliterating and cross-checking each shloka against classical sources. A small donation from readers like you covers these costs and keeps the archive open to everyone, including students and teachers who cannot afford paid resources.

How Your Donation Helps

  • Hosting and bandwidth — keeping 1,000+ verse pages and share images fast and available worldwide.
  • Domain and security — renewing the subhashitam.in domain and maintaining HTTPS for safe browsing.
  • Content development — adding new subhashitas, devotional shlokas and Bengali, Hindi and English explanations.
  • Educational outreach — supporting Sanskrit learning and correspondence (Patrachar) classes in the spirit of the Sanskrit movement.

Secure and Transparent

Donations are processed securely through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway that accepts UPI, cards, net banking and wallets. You are never asked for a password, and your card details are handled by the payment gateway, never by this website. You will receive an instant confirmation and a printable donation receipt showing your name, amount, date and payment reference. The site remains free for all readers regardless of whether you choose to contribute.
