न देवो विद्यते काष्ठे न पाषाणे न मृण्मये। भावे हि विद्यते देवस्तस्माद्भावो हि कारणम्॥

ন দেবো বিদ্যতে কাষ্ঠে ন পাষাণে ন মৃণ্মযে। ভাবে হি বিদ্যতে দেবস্তস্মাদ্ভাবো হি কারণম্॥

na devo vidyate kāṣṭhe na pāṣāṇe na mṛṇmaye | bhāve hi vidyate devastasmādbhāvo hi kāraṇam ||

God does not exist in wood, nor in stone, nor in idols made of clay. God resides in the devotion and feeling of the heart. Therefore, pure feeling (bhava) is the true cause of finding God.

ঈশ্বর কাঠের মধ্যে নেই, পাথরে নেই, অথবা মাটির মূর্তিতেও নেই। ঈশ্বরের বাস হলো ভক্তের ভাবের মধ্যে। সুতরাং, প্রকৃত ভক্তি বা শুদ্ধ ভাবই হলো ঈশ্বর প্রাপ্তির একমাত্র কারণ।

ईश्वर न लकड़ी में है, न पत्थर में, और न ही मिट्टी की मूर्ति में है। ईश्वर तो केवल भावना में विद्यमान है। इसलिए सच्ची भावना (भक्ति) ही भगवान को पाने का कारण है।
