হে কুন্তীপুত্র, ইন্দ্রিয়ের সাথে বিষয়ের সংযোগের ফলেই শীত-উষ্ণ এবং সুখ-দুঃখের অনুভূতি হয়। এগুলি অনিত্য, অর্থাৎ আসা-যাওয়া করে। সুতরাং হে ভারত, ধীরস্থিরভাবে এগুলি সহ্য করতে শেখো।
